When political leaders begin to bash their bosses its time to set them down and teach them who pays their check and who gave them the job. If we can't or won't do that then we consign ourselves to being their subordinates. Anyone that would bash the workers of AIG for working to repair what damage had been done and did it with a contract that all concerned knew existed. And that the political scum that would rant to the ignorant masses about wealth envy and greed when they themselves are full of envy and greed then its time to put the bastards out.
The problem is that this is just my opinion and I have no authority on my own only what other citizens would join me in. Where are all the conscientious folk out there and why are they quiet while all this ranting and raving is going on. The calm voice of reason should be reigning but its not. It is the voice of the mob. And as is stated in "Young Frankenstein", " a mob is an ugly thing" that only follows the emotion of anger and vengeance.
There has been nothing done that would require anger or vengeance. These people worked for that money and should be paid. If folks are jealous of the amount they need to go back to school and learn how to do the things that get them paid that amount. Nobody in the capitalist market earns more than they deserve. We may not agree with whatever payment is negotiated between the parties but then we don't have to. Thats between the parties involved. If I pay to much for something thats my fault. If I don't pay enough for something thats the other persons fault. Whatever decision is reached by the parties involved and contracted to, that is their business not anybody elses. Get over it and lets get on with more mystery.
